Still Alive

Wow it's been a long ass time since I've blogged on this one. So what have I been doing the past couple years you ask. Well I've been working and working some more. I pretty have been doing the 9-5 thing. Jeanna, and I plus the kids have been moved back in together for the last 2 years almost. I read my last blog and remembered all the crap I've gone through. Homeless, broke, smoker, non-smoker. fatter than I am now. Jeanna & I are doing well. I'm still working for telephone Man of America. I have been since October 1st 2009. I'm also working a few jobs here and there for ATT (well a sub contractor of theirs). I'm hoping I get more work from them as the pay is about $75-$100 an hour. Great money but infrequent. I am going to the McDonald's stores and redoing their wireless AP's from single point to double.

Been doing P90X lost a lot of weight and feeling great.

Holy Crap! I'm still alive

It's been Hell pretty much since January 09. We've been homeless, wandering about with no direction to go in. I'm happy to report things are looking better. I"ll be re-evaluating all my sites, blogs and other online presences. I've been working as a web builder for a small telecommunications company. Great news is I have a job title. I'm the Head of the Web and IT department. Sweet huh? Now if I could make more money and get a car...

Just Great!

Oh what a fine day I picked to quit smoking again. I'm still looking for a place to live and only have 2 more days. With no car, job or money I think I'm screwed. Also to top off a wonderful day, My 5 year old decided to take a sharpie to an unfinished table. Yup and to top that off someone else's 13 month old got a hold of the marker and made a bigger mess. Maybe I should be smoking something stronger than cigarettes! I don't know how much longer I can hold on to my sanity. I'm already getting greay hair and a receding hairline from all the stress as of late. Oh well!

Sad Salt Pork

I bought some salt pork today because I was in the mood for the salty goodness. I made omelets and biscuits to go with the salty goodness of the salt pork. After fixing myself a plate and some milk and coffee I sat down to enjoy the salty goodness of my half pound of salt pork. I could feel my blood pressure rising to an impending heart attack just by looking at the rashers on my plate. I took my first bite with great anticipation of that salty goodness...Damn it, the stuff is not salty at all. WTF? I know that stuff is normally like sliding your tongue across a deer lick, but this stuff makes tap water seem salty. GRRR now I"m mad, well not mad, but dissapointed. Oh well, at least there's jelly on my biscuits.

Flock

So I tried Flock browser powered by Mozilla. Mozilla makes Firefox in case you didn't know. Flock is a social browser great for bloggers and MySpace users and other social networks. IT has this great sidebar that keeps all your networks up and running ready for you. It has a few add-on's but not many. Customization of the looks and applications isn't high on the list like Firefox. However, with the sidebar and easy blog editor, this is a fully packed and fast little browser that will have you saying, "I've been Flocked!"
